Dream Girls Weekend II

The wonderful weekend continued the next day with creating. Terri Brush and her assistant Donna (the sweetest) set up the most gorgeous table with extra special gifts for all of us. There were also gifts from Tiffany and Maija on the table. I had the best time learning to solder and have since ordered tons of new supplies so I can play at home:-) This is one of the things I worked on. Tiffany so generously opened up her whole …

Dream Girls Weekend

Have you ever met someone and immediately adored them and wished you lived closer to them? That is how I felt when I met Tiffany last year at Farm Chicks. We were both at an amazing party hosted by Joe, Jermonne and Cindy. Tiffany caught my eye because she was wearing white, ruffled leggings…how cute is that?? Even though we had only just met…we talked about creating, dreams, friendships that GET you! I saw Tiffany again a little bit at …

Seattle Grace…We Never Found You!

This is the final post on my weekend trip to Seattle…promise! Every little thing that we did was so much fun….but this day was just relaxing. Lissa truly did an excellent job of planning all these perfect and different parts of our trip. We were only there for three full days…and we did SO much! The morning started off with us walking downtown to breakfast in Lissa's beautiful little town. We then headed on to the beach. I can't imagine …

Seattle Part II

Well…. you all had a chance to take a peek at Lissa's gorgeous home. After all of your sweet comments I believe that Lissa now loves all of you forever! After Lissa picked me up from the airport we headed to Snohomish for a little shopping. I think we had more fun looking and taking photos than anything else. It was here that I shared with her that I have been thinking about getting my nose pierced with a VERY …

Sleepless In Seattle

I am heading to Seattle tomorrow morning….EARLY! I am so excited. Not only will I get to play with friends the whole weekend…I will also be visiting a city that I have never been to. With my camera in hand I can't wait to explore. Becky and I will be staying with Lissa. Sasha will also be joining us on Friday night for dinner. I can't wait to tell you all about it and to show you some of my …

Treasures On The Cape

I know I have not shown you any photos from our trip to Boston, Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard. Would you believe that I have not even gone through the photos yet? It is true! They will be coming…maybe at Christmas time….but they are coming. I had to show you some unexpected treasures I found one day on the way to the beach. We were driving through Harwich and Kelly spotted an antique shop. I had seen it  but we …

Did I Just Go To Europe?

Isn't this amazing? Heather Bullard could not have chosen a more beautiful location for her Parisian Soiree than The Mission Inn.  The architectural detail was phenomenal.  You truly felt like you were in Europe.  There was a wedding going on in the chapel while we were there.  After the ceremony the couple walked out of the chapel to a beautiful fountain in the courtyard.  What a blessed couple to start their marriage in such a romantic location.  I …

Ten Years and Counting

10 1/2 years ago I watched a man walk into a bar and whispered to my friends, " I would like you to meet my future husband".  Six months later we were married, two years later we had our first of three children and now ten years after saying "I do" I would say it all over again.  I have the life I have always dreamed of.  I have the beautiful material things of life, but that is not what I am talking about.  I …

Southern Hospitality

I am so sorry about my stretch between posts!  I never go anywhere and I have been taking little trips like crazy these past weeks.  I recently got back from a girls weekend in Savannah, Georgia.  I met one of my friends that lives in DC and we had a great time.  The city is gorgeous and it is filled with so many amazing architectural details.  It is so refreshing to see so much character everywhere you look.  We …

The Country Living Fair

Day 1-The Set Up Kasey, Beth and I all arrived at our hotel after midnight.  We stayed up too late (caffeine and talking).  We had an early morning getting to our set up location for the fair.  The weather was clear and hot, but perfect for getting everything unloaded.  We worked all day and right when we had our tent PERFECT we were told that rain was expected that night and the following day.  PANIC…..our tent was water resistant …

Unexpected Beauty

I live in Colorado and honestly I can take the beautiful weather and mountains for granted.  Whenever someone finds out I live in Colorado they go on and on how lucky I am….which I am.  I grew up in Illinois and I have a secret to tell…..I really think IT is beautiful.  I just returned from seeing my parents in Illinois.  I drove with my three children (ages 1-8).  Many thought I was crazy, but it went really well and I …
