As the seasons come into slowing down and hibernating, I find that my time in the studio comes into a beautiful rhythm of creativity. I am inclined to love each turning of a season but the fall and winter season is my time to get cozy and productive. The leaves have already turned in the mountains and they are beginning to turn here in our treehouse among the woods. Right now I am looking out at the first glimpses of yellow, orange and red. The windows are open and a candle is burning. Last night I read with my cup of tea and the fireplace crackling (pretty much my favorite thing in the world). I wanted to share some of them my favorite “tools” right now that I am reaching for whether I am sketching, painting, creating studies or working on a large piece.

I would love to hear what some of your favorites are also!
