As I stated in the video, please do what is right for you. You will need to work in a well-ventilated space. You can open a window, use a fan or both. You are also welcome to use a mask. The mask I use is linked below. You don’t have to use this one, but if you choose to use a mask, please use one that is made to protect against vapors.
Alcohol Inks – I use the Ranger Brand of alcohol inks. Please use whatever you have or the colors that appeal to you. You don’t have to use all of these colors. My color palette is listed below.
Terra Cotta o Valencia o Indigo o Mermaid o Aqua o Gumball o Wild Plum o Ginger o Caramel o Coral
Variety of brushes – Please use what you have. The full set shown in the link is not required. You can also use other types of brushes as well. I would suggest one set of brushes be dedicated to using alcohol inks/alcohol.
Plastic Palette – Please use whatever you have in your studio. You could also use a disposable plastic plate.
Stencil – (Optional) Please use whatever you have in your studio
Pipette – (Optional) – You could also use the end of your brush handle. Just dip it into the ink or alcohol.
Old Mug/Large Plastic Cup
Piece of Wax/Parchment Paper– You just need something you can fit your stamp on to ink. You could even use a piece of aluminum foil.
