Ha…I am thinking I am funny right now and I know I'm not really!
Ok. I know you are really hoping for Farm Chicks info.
Sorry.
Too many pics to go through and all the scoop will be coming in the next few days!
May was a blur.
We did so much and we had company. One of the special days was when my mom came for a visit and joined my sister and me for the day in Old Town Littleton. We had lunch at Tres Jolie and antiqued until our pocketbooks were emtpy.
Two of my favorite purchases from that day was a vintage dressform and an old French grain sack.
I can't wait to dress up this girl in a pretty apron.
Any name suggestions?
I am in the process of framing the grain sack.
I am really excited to show you how it looks.
All I can tell you about the Farm Chicks weekend is that it was boring, I met annoying people and we did nothing fun…………….Does that make all of you that didn't go feel better?
We had so much fun and I can't wait to share all the photos.
I think you should name her Melaine, but that’s just my opinion.
I think you should name her….wait for it….Aubrielle. I looked that one up~
I thought you actually could have been just a bit more annoying. I was hoping to come home not missing you. Thanks a lot….now I came home feeling like I miss my new friend! Sheesh…could ya work on not being so amazing..seriously!!!
LuLu could be fitting, too, and she looks great.=) Seriously, I would love to know how old that old lady is? Did you catch the year? Look forward to hearing and seeing more about the month!
She’s a pretty ‘ole gal. Wouldn’t she have some interesting stories to tell us of all that’s transpired around her through the years. Can’t wait to hear about the weekend and to see the grain sack framed!!
I would love to find a dress form like that…..are they hard to find? do you mind my asking how much you had to pay for it? My daughter would love one like that.
You could name her Emmaline.
i saw her and thought “babette” . it should definitely be frenchie.
i was relieved that it wasn’t farm chicks pictures…don’t want to be coveting or anything.
chas
btw … you ARE funny. crack me up all the time!
ok…very funny..i know you just wanted to make us ones that could not go feel better! I just can’t wait to see your images and what you bought!!!
The vintage dress form is amazing…my grade 11 daughter wants to go into costume design once she graduates and i would love to get her one of those!!!
I am waiting on the edge of my seat for the photos…don’t make me wait tooooo long please!
Look at that dress form! She is lovely and perfect. This must be the one you mentioned to me. Doesn’t it just make you smile to look at her? Mine is still decked out in jewels, but I think trying some aprons on her is an excellent idea – in preparation for sb vendor faire!
Have any of the swaps caught your interest yet?
Sue
I LOVE that dressform! Best I’ve ever seen! And I almost died when I saw the grain sack! I just got in rugs in burlap/jute with EXACTLY the same design/wording! You know what they say about great minds… 🙂
Can’t wait to hear about your big weekend!
Ruth
Love the dress form – how about Gussie??? Because any time you dress her she’ll be ‘all gussied up’!!!
Glad you had a great time!

Gabrielle Louise! Yes, that’s IT! She’s lovely! I’m sure you will dress her up to the nines!
The feed sack is really cool! 🙂
Love the dressform…she’s perfect! and the grain sack, but I’m obsessed with those! Yes, Farm Chicks was a drag and I couldn’t wait to leave…HA!! Loved every minute of it and I’m so glad to have had the chance to hang out with you!!
I thought of you every time I saw a dress form! 🙂
I love your dressform, Jeanne! I was going to suggest Lilou (that’s my website lady’s name I thought up one day) but I see Aubrielle from Amy and I love that to bits. I think you should go with that name. Love the grain sack too. Well… welcome back, better load up on the caffeine!
xo~Tracie

She looks like a Camile to me!
I was going to say Elizabeth but seeing all of these other fab suggestions it just seems boring now!! I love your finds.

oh, i guess your purchases are alright….
xoxo 🙂
Well, since you already named a picture frame ‘Heather’ I think the suggestion of ‘Camille’ by Kim is perfect. After Camille Claudel. Love the grain sack, too. Framing it was a good idea. 🙂
