I posted awhile ago about my window seat makeover and how I was looking for a chandelier to hang above the seat.
We bought a gorgeous chandelier a little while ago for our bathroom…and we have no motivation for the remodeling right now…. so we took that chandelier, hung it and I LOVE it.
It is so perfect in this space and makes it look so lovely at the top of our stairs.
This little area is how I want our whole home to look:-)
I can't tell you how many times we have looked around the house and just switched things around and everything looked new.
I bet you have something that would have new life if you changed it's location.
What projects are you working on right now?
Or what projects do you WISH you were working on:-)
Hi Jeanne! Yes, I remember your window seat makeover, and I loved it! I didn’t think you could improve upon it, but there you go again…you did! I love the chandi…perfection!
🙂 T
I LOVE switching things around!! I do it too often, and then girlfriends come over and say, “Wow it always looks different in here.” Whatevs. (giggle)
If my house could look like that little corner, I’d love it too! Just love that look.
LOVE it! I am all about chandeliers right now – I would love one in my living room and bedroom. What I’m working on…more pillows, what I WISH I was working on – remodeling the bathrooms! They REALLY need it! People visiting can only go to the bathroom in my house right after the cleaning lady comes (since the kid bath is the guest bath too…)
love you chandelier. I have almost the same chandelier inside my dressing room (my closet) and it just makes me feel soo special. I wished I could do my kitchen pantry but hubby is all pooped out we have been working on this house for 18 years but only a few things left to do, the problem is that we end up re-doing it all in a few years…lol never ends 🙂
I love it when something is complete. There is no better feeling. Right now I’m working on completing Ellie’s room. After 3 years it has become a pain in my side. I love your nook, and I love sparkles too. I have almost the exact same chandelier hanging in my bathroom!!
That couldn’t look more perfect! Isn’t that the spot where I said I wanted to curl up and take a nap? Now I want to even more! Im booking my flight right now!!! 🙂
I Love it Jeanne, It’s the Perfect finishing touch. So funny, I accidentally started a lighting project this afternoon. Now of course it has snowballed, nothing new. I would bee in that window seat every chance I had. Jamie
Jeanne, Jeanne, Jeanne it looks fabulous…. I love it, we used to have a window seat at our old house and it never looked this sweet 😉 i hope you Wednesday is full of happiness.

So funny…right before I read this, I asked my husband to switch out the curtains in our Living room and add some new ones to the den LOL! I am CONSTANTLY relocating things and it drives him CRAZY! I love your window seat…looks so cozy and romantic!
That is the look of serenity and peace in my mind. I sure wish I had a corner like that in my home. Beautiful! I am constantly changing things around. Drives my poor husband nutty! Just changed our youngest’s room yesterday! And we LOVE sparkle too!!
i love how perfectly clean that crystal looks in your first photo!=) maybe i am dreaming of a spotless home right now.=) that will be a pleasure to look at regularly and hopefully to cuddle into from time to time, too! right now my immediate project is finishing prepping for the hospital and setting up the little guys bed and belongings.=)
I would never leave that spot. Ever.
Bring me my tea in my spot, please.
Mommy can’t come up, come to me for a kiss goodnight, please.
Thanks for the dinner at my tv tray and window seat, honey.
etc, etc, etc.
LOVE It!

yes, i remember that spot…and i love it…it looks even prettier now with the chandelier…
That sparkler looks so perfect in your window nook, Jeanne. Pure loveliness. I’m in the middle of painting our powder room – it didn’t seem like so much work at the time… 🙂
So, so pretty. I want to curl right up there. I love that feeling of rearranging and everything feeling new and then you want to spend more time in the space that you’ve been fluffing. Right now all I’m working on are SB swaps but I need to be refinishing some furniture. I wish I was working on a new house.
Your window seat makeover is BEAUTIFUL…I too could just curl up there…I just LOVE it…and I love that chandi too ~ sparkle I LOVE!
I love the chandelier! I also love your window seat, I have always wanted a little nook to curl up and do some serious reading. Great job!
xo, Michelle

So pretty Jeanne. I love chandeliers. I have yet to put one up, but I would put it over my tub in the master bath. Your house looks so pretty:) I need to go back and check it out again. Hope you have a beautiful day sweet friend.
Oh wow — that is so beautiful! What a great spot for it! Think I could sit there all day long!
Janet
okay Jeanne! It looks even better now! I think that your nook would be my favorite area of your home!
So… are you sewing away? being a very busy bee???
what a perfect little quiet time spot.
the chandi looks gorgeous
xo
Never. Enough. Sparkle.
I’m crazy busy lately working on orders. So stressful, but I’m SOOOO grateful for it!
I’m taking a 5 minutes break to check my fave blogs. 🙂
Love, love that sparkle! The chandelier looks lovely…what a pretty place to curl up with a good book:)
I definitely remember your makeover! I so wanted to create a window-seat in my house. alas – I have no nook for it, really.
it is like that chandelier was perfectly meant for that space!
And the sparkle? I can’t get ENOUGH sparkle!!
As for projects around the house – I’d love to do our laundry room as a quick-fix/inexpensive project. For the project to do when we have big bucks to spend – we’ve got to do our kitchen. SOMEDAY!
xoxo
Gorgeous! I could sit there for hours. Love the chandi! Right now I am trying to get my dining room makeover done…that will take a while, but really what I need to do is list things in my Etsy!
Have a great day!
Adrienne

Oooh-La-la!!
What a cozy nook. I love cozy seating areas and I’m like you, I’m always rearranging which does make things feel fresh and new. I’m right now working on sewing projects around my house which I’ve posted one of those on my blog. I have three more sewing projects yet to do and I’m excited.
What a lovely space you have created. And the chandelier sets it off beautifully!!
This truly is a beautiful and inviting space. I just would love to read a book in silence right there..
You have made your amazingly lovely space perfect! If I could I would hang a chandelier in every corner of my home! So Beautiful!
What a beautiful blog! Love your style and yoru sparkle…

What a gorgeous chandelier and it looks perfect! Some women are addicted to shoes.. I’m addicted to chandeliers…LOVE THEM!!!!
Thank you so much sweet friend for your kind words and well wishes!
Love and hugs,
Karyn
Love, Love, Love it! The colors, the lighting, the warmth of it all looks fabulous! My goal is to have a chandelier in EACH room in my house. I’m still working on transforming my daughter’s room (who is away at college) into a Parisian Palace. Painting is done, trim still needs to be tackled, curtains have been made, antique mirror has been hung with care, and I bought the fabric to make a duvet. I have it all in my mind how it’s going to come together!
Smiles, Nancy
P.S….did you purchase the lovely linen bedset for your Master Bedroom? I would love to see a picture of it! Or perhaps I missed a post….curious minds need to see!
That added the perfect touch Jeanne! What an absolutely gorgeous spot.
We are wanting to move into a bigger space right now for our growing family of 5 so decorating a whole new home is tops on my list right now of dream projects:)
Okay, I totally love this. There is nothing like using a chandelier in an unusual space to take it up a notch!
