Darker sketching pencil (2B and 4B are my faves)
Charcoal pencil (I prefer “soft”)
Mechanical pencil
Sketchbook or loose paper (my fave is the Ranger Dylusion Journal) Timer
1 sheet of mixed media paper (I like cold press, but any will be fine. mine is 8×10)
Printer
Masking tape
Palette or Waxed paper plate or Freezer paper secured to a table
White Gesso
Acrylic paint, any
Golden Gloss Glazing Liquid (it is also a slow-drying extender for paint)
Large canvas (any size, mine is 12×36)
Small brushes, any
