If you want some musical inspiration as you are pulling your supplies together, I think you will love this Spotify playlist put together by the Denver Art Museum for their Women of Abstract Expressionism exhibit back in 2016.
*Please note that to study Helen Frankenthaler and her work you can use watercolors, acrylics, oils and other water soluble mediums. Please use what you have.

Gelli Plate (please watch the video first to see if you want to create the prints)
