This summer I spent 3 1/2 weeks in the south of France teaching art. One of the things I taught was how to paint landscapes using simple tools. I heard from many of you asking me to do a course, so voila!

How do you look at rolling hills, fields of planted wheat and sunflowers, trees dappled throughout and villages on the hilltop and even begin to capture the beauty you are seeing?

In this online course I will take you through my steps for seeing lines and form, how to quickly paint what you just collected, how to study the landscape sketches of Van Gogh, how to create your own vocabulary of marks and how to use the medium of your choice to create representational landscapes in a short amount of time. We will end the workshop by carving a landscape lino print inspired by one of your paintings.

If you have ever wanted to learn how to quickly capture a landscape while traveling or at home, I hope you will join me for this really fun course that will get you capturing the world around you.

Think of this as a fun way to create right along with me (if you want), ask questions as we go, and even connect with other creatives in our community. This session will also be recorded so you can go back and watch it again and again. I am so excited to connect and create in this way. Early registration is open!

INSTANT ACCESS for French Landscapes with Jeanne Oliver. Registration is $58 and this workshop has 4+ hours of content. The video is downloadable, lifetime access* and closed captioned.
