For the past three years I have taken my daughter and some friends to dinner, night at a hotel and then school shopping the next day.  It has always been so much fun to spend this time with my sweet girl!  This year the girls wanted to eat at P.F. Changs, go swimming at the hotel pool, do our makeup (they put so much blush on me I looked like I was sunburned), watched the Kit American Girl movie and shopped till we dropped the next day.  We always go a little overboard on the shopping, but this is a once a year thing.  It takes my sweet girl a little time to detox from the indulgent weekend!  For the next few weeks she still asks to get everything she sees and I have to remind her that she will not be getting it.  I look forward to all the years ahead and the wonderful tradition we have started.
