Join me for another live Zoom art workshop. This session will be all about abstract techniques on paper. I have so much I want to share with you so we are making this a special two part workshop. Our first session will be 10-noon MT followed by a two hour break and then we will finish our workshop at 2-4 pm MT. Once we finish the Zoom session we will edit the high res recordings of both sessions and put the replays back up within the classroom. You will be able to watch the course again and again (just like any other course) and you will also have access if you missed the live session. I will include a supplies video before the workshop begins.
In this two part online workshop you will create multiple abstract works on paper. I will share my techniques and methods of creating layers and texture within my work, composition, how to get unstuck and how to finish your work and how to take smaller works to inspire larger works. We will use some of my tried and true warm up exercises that will inspire our work during the workshop. We will create a stitched sketchbook (that you will make and fill with your marks) as a source of inspiration. We will incorporate calcium carbonate as a base layer on a few pieces.
Early registration is ending for Experiments on Paper Jeanne Oliver. Early registration is $32 and will go to full price ($58) after the Zoom has been edited and instant access on April 21st. This live Zoom art workshop will be held on April 20th @ 10:00 am MT and 2pm MT. This workshop will have 4 hours of content. This Zoom session will be recorded if you can’t be present to watch live. The replay video will be downloadable, lifetime access* and closed captioned.
