Another year has come and gone.
For some it was their best and for many they were happy to see it go.
I know it was a hard year for many.
In the midst of the hard there is also joy.
There always is.
A new year.
Don’t you just love a clean slate?
That is what a new year means to me.
It means do overs.
Fresh start.
Ways to grow and a motivation to try something new.
Last night as I quietly watched 2011 turn to 2012 …I felt joy.
Joy that I have the honor to write, design and create art for a living.
Joy that I get to stay home each day with my children.
Joy that my marriage has been worth the work.
Joy for the embrace I have felt from you and the art community.
Sometimes I don’t know what I can do to thank my readers and to show my appreciation for your love of what I create and write.
It has been the most unexpected gift.
I wanted to do something just for you to say “thank you”.
For this week I will be offering 20% off your total purchase of our new Coming Home Collection.

I also wanted to tell you that my most recent article is in the new Somerset Life.
I am always honored to be included in such a beautiful publication.
I think that is about it for tonight.
Thank you!
Truly.
Thank you for all the ways that you made 2011 so lovely.
Congratulations and Happy New Year, Jeanne! I am so looking forward to 2012!

Congratulations Jeanne! I am looking forward to all that you have to share in 2012. I can’t wait to see what I can add to my Jeanne Olive Originals! I have a bag, a camera bag and 2 necklaces. All is so beautiful! I also love your playlist and listen to it often. The music is so soothing!
Wishing you and your family all the best for 2012.
Dear Jeanne,
First of all, love the tree/bird picture – great photo. I am also looking forward to the new year and am hoping it’s a clean slate. I am one of the ones that 2011 was hard for (my Dad died in September 2010), and wanted to say that your blog today puts my feelings into words far more eloquently than I could. Love your new collection and congratulations on the Somerset Life article – I saw the magazine for the first time yesterday and it is truly lovely.
Happy 2012 to you and yours.
Jeanne, when I signed up for the ecourse I was using a different email. For further correspondence could you please use the email that is posted with this? Thanks, Karen
Happy New Year to you & your family! And thank you for all your loveliness, Jeanne:)
P.S. So excited about your e-course…can’t wait for the creativity to begin! 🙂
I bought one of your bags at the Gathering in Colorado Springs….I was so happy to see it there, I almost scramed. I talk to the owner of the shop about your bags before because I come into the shop before with one I carried. I was so happy to buy it there and as always I LOVE it. Hope to get a camera bag this year too.
