Supply List

I always suggest watching my videos first to decide what you really feel like you need to add to your supply stash prior to buying anything.

  • Artist grade watercolors (I will be using Daniel Smith)
  • Several watercolor-only paint brushes in various sizes. Be sure to include several rounds (sizes 1-6 are all awesome)
  • Small watercolor scrubber brush
  • Watercolor journal with artist-grade watercolor paper
  • 1-8X10 or 9X12 pad of watercolor paper-cold press artist grade #140 lb. paper (tape-bound)
  • Mechanical pencils (.3 lead, HB)/ White vinyl eraser
  • Roll of artist tape
  • Stapler/Scissors/Paper trimmer
  • Water container/Spray bottle filled with water
  • Paper towels/table salt
  • Fine-point white marker (Optional – Wait to see if you have one that will work before buying a new one!)
  • Liquid Frisket (Optional – Wait to watch before buying!)
  • Gold leaf/adhesive or adhesive pen/brush (Optional – Wait until you see the project to be sure you want to invest in this stuff!)
  • White Erase Lap Board (Helpful/Optional – To mix colors prior to painting)
  • Ranger Craft Dryer (Helpful/Optional – Helps speed up drying layers)
  • 8X10 White Framing mat (Helpful/Optional – To cut and create a viewfinder)
