Course Description

Creative habits seem to be one of the most important exercises in my day-to-day life as an artist. I may not always have time in this season to paint large works of art each day, but I can always find time to capture something beautiful in front of me. Everyday Italy is based upon the creative practices that were born through travel and my deep love of Italy, which I continued once I returned back home. Join me for a course that will share how to capture daily beauty through charcoal, graphite, watercolor and gouache. We will start the course by making a concertina sketchbook and filling it with sketches and washes then finishing the class by adding paintings and even works with a palette knife. Let’s start the new year together and find beauty in our everyday life.

Join me for another live Zoom art workshop. In this two part workshop we will be creating still life studies and quick painted works in our handmade concertina sketchbooks. The first session will be from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Mountain and the second session will be 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Mountain.

This workshop will have 4+ hours of content. If you are not able to make the live session don’t worry because the high res and edited workshop will be available for you to watch at your convenience within 24 hours of the session. The replay video will be downloadable, lifetime access* and closed captioned.
