  4. Raw Umber ink or gouache paint

  6. Speedball sketching set
  7. 5 pieces of watercolor or mixed media paper cut to 6″ x 8″
  8. Waxed thread and needle
  9. Mechanical pencil
  10. Landscape images (I will provide 5 French landscape images HERE)

Pastel Recipe:
  • Pigment (start with one tablespoon)
  • Distilled water (1/4 of a teaspoon)
  • Gum Arabic binder (2 drops)
  • Rubbing Alcohol or cloves essential oil (2 drops)
  • Mix together on a palette until the consistency of dough. Add more pigment if needed.

  • Winsor & Newton
  • I have some from France but I can not find a source here in the US
