My favorite summer time activity with my girlfriends is to hit the local flea markets on Saturday morning.
With coffee in hand and cash in my pocket I am on a mission to find vintage treasures.
It gets a little bit harder to satisfy that need in the winter months here in Colorado.
My saving grace is The Barn.
The Barn was built in 1905 and has been turned into an antique market.
Each stall is a different shop. Some carry antiques, some new items and most carry an assortment of the two.
I have spent my share of money in this shop. The owner, Alice, has beautiful ironstone.
This is Chic Junque. The owner is Beth….who I know many of you are familiar with.
Her shop is stunning to look at. She is amazing at display and she always has a beautiful assortment of fabric items and antiques that she has spruced up. She even makes the most incredible bracelets from vintage earrings.
I can't stop in The Barn without strolling through her space.
I love knowing that every time I shop here there will be something different.
I have left with a vintage typewriter, ironstone and 10 yards of Amy Butler fabrics….not a bad day.
I hope you enjoyed looking at one of my favorite places to shop for vintage finds…and new things too!
ps. I will be drawing the winner for The Busy Scrapper tomorrow.
i really want a vintage typewriter…i found the perfect one last time i was shopping with my hubby…it was literally buried in a pile of stuff and he was rushing me…so i left without it…still not so happy about that…those shops look like wonderful places to visit…thanks for taking me along!!!
I miss Beth!! I love her little shop, and love those aprons!
Her bracelets are to die for.

What a fun post. I’m sure I could do some damage in there. To my wallet, not the shop of course. Smiles, H
I can see why you can’t go past Beth’s section! Looks dreamy! 🙂 Pretty colors!
I’ve been meaning to take a little field trip down there (I live in Centennial) but keep putting it off because it seems so far away–even though it would only take me about 25 minutes to get there, LOL. Your photos just make me want to go more!
That looks like a fun place! I just know I would love it. {Sigh} coffee and junking…two of my very favorites. Happy treasure hunting!
