Creative Resistance Limited Edition Art Kit

While in Milan last summer I was in the most beautiful vintage bookstore. My heart was set on little vintage poetry books in Italian. As I was slowly scanning the spines for the perfect treasure to take home my eyes instantly stopped on a vintage poetry book with a cardboard cover and black stamped words and numbers. I had never seen anything like it. Of course I brought it home with me and I wanted to create our own version together.

Creative Resistance in many ways is the perfect way to prepare our hearts and minds for the new year and to be thoughtful where we choose to turn our gaze and what we give our attention.

I created this special limited art kit to accompany my brand new online course Creative Resistance that will begin on December 20th! You do not need this kit to join the course. I have just gathered all of the supplies for you and I am also including some fun extras that I have never shared before!
This is VERY limited and they will begin shipping EARLY NEXT WEEK so you have them in time for the course.

Each kit will include:

• Two custom printed cardboard journal covers that will arrive printed with the images you see above and already scored. Each cover when folded measures 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
• One metal and wood awl for bookbinding
• My favorite black wax thread for stitching the signatures into the spine
• One skein of black embroidery thread
• One Blackwing Matte
• A variety of papers: Watercolor, newsprint, onion skin, tracing paper, sketch, to create 6 signatures for your books
• 15 custom collage pages taken from my sketchbooks and studies printed in color on 28lb paper
• This kit will ship out early next week and will arrive in time for the course (inside the US).
