Beauty matters. My whole life I have been a beauty chaser and have often been made fun of because of it. I still pursued it, gathered it, and had my eyes and heart open to it.
Being a beauty chaser is more about the heart than the eyes. Have a heart to truly see the beauty that is right in front of you. It is all around. I promise. There are days it is harder to find but that should make us fight for it even more.
I don’t share beauty because I am clueless about what is going on in the world. I share beauty because it is one way that I know that this world is worth fighting for. I know that the giver of all beauty is the Lord and I want my eyes, heart and actions to be open to the beauty that is all around us to be received. Open your arms wide. You will find it in unexpected places, in unexpected moments, with unexpected people. Sometimes it will be a whisper and other times a wave of beauty that leaves you with tears streaming down your face. Don’t forget where it comes from. Are you a beauty chaser too?
