Being a wife, mom, friend, business owner, household manager, school juggler and creative are some of the hats I wear. I know you are the same and probably more.
I also know that if I am not intentional with my marriage, children, schooling, business, creative time etc. than I miss out on opportunities of being present in each of these areas.
I am not saying it is easy but it is very much worth it.
Being intentional and seeing the “Big Picture” has helped my life become beautifully full of the people, activities and beliefs I hold most dear.
I am a work in progress and I have areas I struggle with and areas I definitely need to grow and change but that is part of life and learning how to live and do better.
This is just a glimpse of where I am right now.
We are truly all in this together and we can all learn from each other!
I hope you will also share how YOU see the Big Picture.
Oh Jeanne, everything you said, yes, yes and Amen. You had me at hello (just kidding). I have always believed that everything I do is part of the creative soul that the Lord has made me to be, and that my art is not just something I make creatively, but is how I feed my family, how my home welcomes a tired soul, how my hands help someone else, how my heart loves. It took me years to realize all that I am creatively, whatever that may look like the Lord has given me. I try very hard to not compare myself with others, but to know I am right where I should be. That life is an adventure and a treasure hunt from my Heavenly Father. Thank you!
Beautifully said!! Being creative is healing to me. A huge stress reliever. I need to get back to doing more of that. I have to stop comparing myself to others. I keep forgetting that creating something is for ME and not anyone else. I needed to watch this video!
Thank you Jeanne, I know you touched my heart with what you said, and I am sure you’ve touched many others. God bless you!
This was exactly what I needed to hear tonight. Thank you for sharing your wise words with us.
Thanks for your beautiful words of reminder to us all!
Thank you for such a positive reminder of what our choices are.
Couldn’t agree with you more, Jeanne. My kids are now 11 and 9 and only now I’m getting more into art. Making a decision to get into a daily practise, and also realising that so much of life so far has been a creative expression one way or another. Thankful for all of it. I love the concept of being positive atmosphere changes. And of having and working on your own dreams in stead of watching others. You are a huge inspiration though!
Another Great One- Love this. Thank you Jeanne Oliver. xo
