Substrate – This link is to the 12×12 wood cradleboard I used, but you can use anything – a canvas, an art journal, a sheet of cardboard – it’s all up to you!

6-8 Letter Size Chipboard Sheets per project – (I bought 100 sheets because I love this technique and use it a lot, if you don’t have chipboard, you could use cereal boxes or any other packaging made of chipboard)
White Paint – This needs to be heavy-body acrylic paint
Black Paint – This needs to be heavy-body acrylic paint, you could also use black gesso.
3-4 of your favorite colors of Metallic Paint:
Pink Metallic Paint – Y(you can use any light-body acrylic paint, but this is one of the colors I used)
Gold Metallic Paint – (you can use any light-body acrylic paint, but this is one of the colors I used)
Blue Metallic Paint – (you can use any light-body acrylic paint, but this is one of the colors I used)
Silver Metallic Paint -(you can use any light-body acrylic paint, but this is one of the colors I used)
Coffee Grounds – (you can use any coffee grounds, here is what I used)
Texture paste or medium – (my favorite kind)
Joint compound – (my favorite brand for this purpose)
Modeling paste – (this is the kind I used, but you can use any modeling paste)
Heavy Gel Medium – (this is the kind I used, but you can use any heavy gel medium, either matte or gloss, depending on your preference)
Gold foil, silver foil, copper foil – (this set contains all 3 colors)
silver, white or black glitter – (you can use any kind of glitter or tiny beads, this is what I used)
Waxed paper sheets – (you’ll be using these for many things, you could also cut a roll of waxed paper into sheets if you already have that) Paint brushes – (you can just use an inexpensive set like this)
scraper or old gift card – (I save all of my hotel and gift cards for this, but here is a scraper that would work if you don’t have any old cards)
exacto knife – (any brand will do, I buy this set because it includes so many extra blades) cutting mat or board – (this is the cutting mat I use for cutting out collage elements)
Black and White Letters and Words Collaging Book – (this is a book that I created and published and you will be using it for years because it is so full of letters and words for collaging)
Color Letters and Words Collaging Book – this is a book that I created and published and you will be using it for years because it is so full of letters and words for collaging) Old Magazines and books to cut letters and words out of PDF printouts your favorite scissors for cutting paper, chipboard and dried paint
