Artist, an Instructor, and Encourager.
Abstract painting allows me the time and space to share and respond to my daily observations and life circumstances. Here, an internal dialogue emerges, my soul shifts and something inside of me feels untangled on the canvas. These deep and humbling observations full of twists and turns require vulnerability, honesty, integrity and above all perseverance to trust in the process.
Encouraging others to explore Art and navigate the canvas, I invite students to come home to their own soul with expressive dialogue. I believe the connections made in a learning environment are valuable experiences that feel like stepping stones along life’s journey. I envision a loving Creator placing them there as we journey toward healing and wholeness in our mental, physical and spiritual selves.
I’m so grateful for this labor of love and daily discipline that brings clarity and honors stillness in my life.
I am a wife to Mike and a mother to four lovely and capable ladies and their fine fellas. I’m now a Grandma to the cutest little boy and the cutest little girl on the planet, of course. I am also Mom to our fuzzy and loyal sidekick Elly Mae, who likes to hang out in my home studio when she is not busy riding in the car with me or chasing birds.
