I got so many emails about my first post of favorite things I thought I would do another one.
I would like you to know that my friend Amy Jo especially enjoyed it and referred to Oprah (Oprah's favorite things) when expressing her joy over the list.
She is a lover of ALL things Oprah.
I am not.
If for some reason I am ever on the Oprah show I will deny this.
Ok….here we go.
I love, love, love these jeans!
AG Tomboy Jeans
I don't ever use dryer sheets..I use these lavender dryer sachets.
The smell is light and my husband has never even mentioned the scent on his clothes.
This is my favorite olive oil.
I love the smell and taste of basil and try to incorporate it into as much of our food as possible.
I recently walked into my neighbor's home and it smelled incredible.
I immediately went out and bought this….in fresh linen…from Bath and Body Works.
This sounds like such a weird one…but I really try to limit my sugar intake and I don't want to eat Splenda or another artificial sweetener.
This is a natural sweetener and you can find it at any natural grocer.
This is my favorite wine of the moment.
Nothing fancy and great price.
I could drink this with a straw…maybe I am right now….I will not tell.
Don't judge me…it has been a rough day.
I know I said I don't go into Kohl's for anything but my lipstick but I forgot to tell you about one more thing.
I love these because they do the job of more expensive peels.
I have to admit that I am a little bit of a product junkie and I love trying new things.
I buy these again and again.
I know I have talked about my dry hair…and you are going to have to listen to me complain again.
I adore anything that can trick me into thinking my hair is soft and this is it.
My last favorite thing for this installment is my favorite workout.
It is short (20 minutes) and to the point.
I have time for this and I can see results.
What are some of your favorites?
Bonne Belle Lip Smacker (they are making them again in the giant size we used when we chased the boys with them in kindergarten), Bath & Body Works Twisted Peppermint body lotion, Denise Austin’s Crunch Walk Workout (three 15 minute segments full of cheesey goodness…”Come on….burn that butter! Lookn’ good….yeah!!”), and I agree with you about Oprah!
I hope you have a better day tomorrow!
Julie M.
Jeanne –
I didn’t need any more reason to adore you – or feel that we are quite kindred, and then you post this! Oprah. I can leave her. I’m so with you.
My fav home scent is Linen, and I’m off to B&BW to get that linen scent, I NEED a good smelling home.
My hair is thick, coarse and often dry – I’m SO trying your soft hair product.
I’ve been in the mkt for a good/quick workout video – and LOVE Jillian on Biggest Loser, so I think I’ll hop on out and get the DVD.
You’re fabulous – thank you for your favs – I know I’ll be loving them here in Pasadena!
xoxo
I absolutely LOVE the Moroccan Oil products, too!! LOVE the little bottle of Moroccan hair oil! And it smells SO good!!
You have me intrigued by the Citra Peel! Are those “pads” in the photo (like the good old fashioned “Stridex Pads”?). Can you get it anywhere besides Kohls? (The nearest one is like 30 minutes away).
The jeans look fun, too!
Love these kind of posts!!!
Thanks!!
Ruth
Love it and Oprah still rocks! If you ever do go to her show I had better be picked to tag along as your sidekick or I will cry!
That was fun! Do another one, do another one!!! 🙂 Might have to get that workout! Have a good day Jeanne!
You are one of my favorites:) Thanks for the ideas.
ooooo, you’ve got some fun new finds there! Lipstick and converse are the only Kohl’s things I get, but now I’ve got a new mission. And…my hub was just complaining that our laundry as a “funny smell” and I will invest in the dryer sheets. FABULOUS! Thank you!
Favorites just make me want to go shopping 😉 (At first glance, I thought the sugar packets were a box of pads 😉
I have that Jillian Michael’s DVD and it is soooo hard! You’ve inspired me to try it again though.
I used to love all things Oprah until my mother and cousin started pointing out how she has to make everything about Oprah. But, I have to admit that she finds great stuff, including books, and I always enjoy the articles in her magazine.
great list!
do you have links to some of them like where you get the olive oil?i tried clicking but no info came up
thanks
I love those lavender sachets too! I found trader joes has them even cheaper that’s all I use~ I love that my linen closet isn’t so stinky any more!
Oprah’s power over the general public is scary to me….I can leave it for them, too. Love reading about your favs……..love the BB&W scent, too!!! In the fall I like the kitchen spice or the spiced pear.
Suzanne
I’m obsessed with those lavender sachets, just ask Kasey. And for a natural, but better for you sweetener, have you tried agave nectar – I love it (it’s great on pancakes in place of syrup)!
🙂 T
I’m not an Oprah fan either, but if I get on her show I’m sure I can muster up some enthusiasm;)
I just did this 30 day shred yesterday. I have to say I’m in love with Jillian Michaels. She’s just really motivating.
What a neat post…I love reading posts like this…I’m one of those nosey bathroom persons that takes a peek in medicine cabinets to see what kind of products people us…no other reason…don’t be hate’n…most of ya’ll do it too, I saw a poll once…LOL…LOL…LOL!!
really??? You see results from Jillian’s dvd?? That’s it! It’s mine! And I love the lavender sachet dryer thingy! I want to try it. Oh, and don’t think I’m a loser but is there really a difference in olive oil? Really… that you can taste? I really want to know!
xo
Okay, so I need some tummy help—too many snack treats this summer. Does this video really work? I need a testimonial! 🙂
I love it when people tell me what their favorite things are… it just makes it so much easier for me to be lazy! Ha! What a fun post…
Blessings,
LMM
Love the jeans, what a great style. Also, the lavender dryer sheets. Actually, I really could go out and buy most of your favorites. Thanks for sharing!

For some reason I really think I am losing it, I read this post and said to myself those jeans look amazing, and I need to tell Jeanne, cause I am kind of a jean whore…and then look I never told you..so I am losing it, it is official, however, I am telling you now…and if I hate these jeans…I am coming over to your house to get my money back! 🙂 love ya!
P.S. We don’t need a wedding to have a farm chicks re-union we just need to kick my parents out of their house for the weekend and party like rock stars…oh goodness I don’t know where that just came from, probably my diet coke! See I am losing it!
great list!!! thanks for sharing jeanne. might have to try a few things.
