Acrylic paint colors. I like using Golden paints, Holbiens, DickBlick matte acrylics, among others.
At least 5 colors of India and acrylic inks. Please choose some warm and color colors plus black. Florescent colors are fun too.
Your brushes (including a mop brush that holds a good amount of water).
Paint pens (water-based). I like fine or extra fine point and white, black, silver, etc, but please get a variety. Uni-posca’s are my favorite and then Sharpie. Some new metallic pens I just discovered that I rather like can be found here.
Neocolor II Caran d’Ache water-soluble crayons. Get a handful of your favorite colors. Again, I also like having white and back.
Spray bottle for water.
At least 3 substrates to work on. I use Aquabord. You can also use large sheets of watercolor paper.
Blue painter’s tape if working with watercolor paper as your substrate.
A few sheets of watercolor paper (from a pad is fine) for collage work.
Gold leaf kit (optional).
Lokta paper pack (or any kind of handmade paper with a soft feel).
Liquitex Gloss Medium & Varnish (or another kind of clear medium for collage work).
Pencil and white or Pink Pearl eraser.
Scissors.
