I am a big believer that there is room for everyone when it comes to your gifts and what you have to offer this world.
Your gifts are beautiful and big…and so is this world.
Awhile ago I wrote THIS post about making room for creative people around you.
I hope you will join me with this new series about moving over and making room for others.
For this first post I wanted to show off the beautiful gifts of Melissa de la Fuente.
I met Melissa at Alt a few years ago and was immediately drawn to her and her beautiful spirit.
I didn’t know at the time about her popular blog or her incredible jewelry.
She is warm, kind and humble.
Those awesome Johnson & Johnson commercials?
Melissa has been in them and her voice is heard is some of them too.
She has an amazing eye for design and style and her handmade jewelry makes me swoon.
Take a peek…
Are you drooling?
I just started THIS Pinterest board where I will be sharing the works of artists and creative hearts.
I hope you will follow along and also share your creations with me.
If you have a business, website, Etsy shop etc. that you would like to share please link in the comments so we can all check you out too!
I love Melissa’s jewelry! I pinned one of her necklaces awhile back, but there was no source, so I’m glad to find out how I can get my hands on some of her work:)
Here is my etsy shop: http://www.fuzzibritches.etsy.com I use “upcycled” sweaters, buttons, beads and bits of fabric to create huggable owl friends.
Wow, so pretty.
Thanks for letting us share our business.

Lori Aguirre – Sweet Relish Style
I love the simplistic nature, it’s my favorite.
Thank you for sharing and being so open and gracious. It’s been difficult, most have been supportive, some kinda clueless, which is fine, it’s not their “thing” and some just downright mean. It’s great to have a heathy group of women sharing their gifts.
I have an etsy shop @www.sweetrelishstyle.etsy.com and http://www.Facebook.com/sweetrelishstyle that has a lot of my recent creations, bags cuffs, aprons.
Thank you Jeanne for the reminder that there is room for all…so encouraging and so easy to become defeated in believing the lie that there is not enough room… but its just that. a lie. Creativity is such a beautiful thing and part of so many people and expressed in amazingly diverse ways!:) Thanks for sharing Melissa’s work… it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! 🙂
Thanks so much for the opportunity to share!:)

Fantastic post. In bringing the gifts of others into the light of others will bring a light unto you. Everyone should live by this example. The world would be a kinder place. The work featured here is extraordinary. Continued good luck to all. And thank you for allowing us to feature our shop.

ps I totally agree, by the way. What is that quote?……ah yes,
“A candle loses none of its light by lighting another candle.” 🙂
Melissa is the perfect example for this! She is radiant in her love, kindness, and creativity! Beautiful thoughts, thank you! Glad to find you too! xo
