On Saturday night we had our yearly progressive dinner with our neighborhood.
We hosted appetizers and cocktails this year and we had so much fun.
The house was all cleaned (thanks to the lovely cleaning ladies that I hadn't seen since the spring) and we had finished decorating the house.
I snapped some photos while the house was clean…doesn't happen that often…and I wanted to share the house all dressed up!
The shop is now officially closed until January 1 and I will be getting the last of the orders out today.
This week will be full of creating, baking, ice skating, time with friends and maybe a little shopping.
How are you decorating for Christmas?

Jeanne, your house looks amazing, seriously, I love every detial to the button garland, to the angel santos, to the beautiful table, it is all perfect. I also love that you still use christmas colors so to speak..perfect!! you did it again with your fabulous designs!
So pretty Jeanne. I bet it feels good to have all that done…sigh of relief. Now you can enjoy:)
Looks so nice! I love all the paper accents! The button jar and paper jar are REALLY cute! I have an obsession with apothecary jars…and your tree is so pretty! Hope you have a lovely week preparing for the big day!
thanks so much for sharing the photos of your very warm and cozy home. i love the black mirror, the ivory pillar candles, the apothecary jars…the shredded paper, and just every little detail, really. it’s especially interesting to me to see the cherry wood and white molding – when we moved into our home 10 years ago, we had almost all cherry furniture; but it was a bit too much because this home had cherry stained molding, cupboards, etc. so i have gradually added white pieces of furniture and accessories, and have gotten rid of much of our cherry furniture. so your home is what i really would have chosen – white molding! i’ve tried to talk my dh into letting me paint the molding white…but no luck so far! thanks again for the peek inside your home:)

Oh my gosh ~ I am cracking up. I have that same table runner from Vagabond Vintage (bought at Lola Rue’s) and a dough bowl with pinecones and candles on my dining room table. And I wraped my white poinsettes in burlap as well. Although I put black and white checked ribbon on them. Anyway, I think yours is cuter! Have a Merry Christmas Jeanne, thank you for inspiring us all!!!
The home Decoration and arrangements are so perfect and excellent. All the house is prepared and dressed up to welcome the blessings of Christmas which is knocking at the door in the form of guests.
