- Handmade Pottery. Giving the gift of ceramics is one of my go to favorites! I would recommend subscribing to the newsletters of the ceramic artists you love to make sure you don’t miss when they have new pieces available. Some of my favorites: Krista Coons, Kim Taylor, Jennifer Morris, Studio Pepa.
- Custom Hat. Supporting artisans is a passion of mine. I love to give and also purchase for myself artisan products that hold a story. I also know first hand the impact it has on an artist to support their work. Thank you to all of you that do that for me! I own a custom hat by Frik and Frak Hats and they are truly works of art.
- Vintage Easel. Vintage items in my studio inspire me so much. I invest in vintage paintbrushes, palettes, dishes to hold my supplies etc. You can find this vintage easel HERE.
- Vintage Art. Vintage works of art fill our home and you can find these pieces on Etsy, flea markets, online vendors and more. Some of my favorites to find vintage art online: Lostine, A.S.L. Paris and Elsie Green.
- Vintage Art Books. My number one item that I give to others is a vintage book that I find on my travels. I will often find vintage books online and then find them less expensive on Ebay or Amazon. I also highly recommend that you try used bookstores like McKay’s Books in Nashville. I have come home with a suitcase of beautiful old art books for a few dollars each.
- Painter’s Smock. I used to paint in whatever I was wearing. Over the years I make sure to have dedicated clothing for the studio. The more I work in them the more comfortable and paint filled they become. This gorgeous painter’s smock is from one of my favorite small brands, Imogene and Willie.
- Handmade Watercolor Paints. There is something so special with creating with small batch, handmade artist supplies. This small palette is from Lilian May.
- Vinyl. I am a very analog in my lifestyle. I like paper and pencil, to hold a real book in my hands, fire going, candles lit, wake up with the sun as my alarm, we still have a landline with an old phone on the wall and I LOVE my records. When we are visiting the kids in Nashville I have so much fun finding “new” records, finding them online, at flea markets and finding new ones on Amazon.
Love these Jeanne! Thank you so much for sharing ✨
