About a year ago as I was taking a walk and talking to the Lord I received the name for a future course. I love when I get the name and tagline all together. I came home giddy and excited for what this course would be about. This course would be the third in a series. My very first online art course was Creatively Made {rediscovering the beauty of your gifts) and it was followed up with The Journey of Letting Go {creating beauty from ashes). Both courses were full of art but also my own journey with my gifts, forgiveness and the Lord. There have been many art courses after the first course but I knew that this third “series” course would be all about the Lord. Wide open and all laid out for anyone that wanted to hear more about Him or grow in their faith.
The most successful time of year for an online art course is January so about two months ago I began to get more serious about laying out the course and the foundation of what I wanted to share/create. A few months ago the Lord very sweetly whispered that this course needed to be free. What? Free? Crazy Lord! This is the best time of year for a course! This can’t be the Lord:-) After many discussions with the Holy Spirit over that week I walked away knowing this was good. Really good. As I sat in church a few weeks later name after name flooded my mind and heart and I started writing as quickly as I could. All of the content for the course was provided, the heart behind the course and all of the women I knew I would love to be a part of the course. I don’t know there has been a complete 180 on how I thought this course would be run…but I just know it doesn’t matter. I know that every door that has opened for me has been the Lord and that He knows exactly the whys. He knows the hearts that need more. More of Him and so much less of this world.
As I emailed friends that I knew were crazy for Jesus I held my breath and wondered if anyone would even be up for doing this free study with me.
With tears I am writing this because look at all of these amazing women that said YES!
These are the best of the best and they are doing this because they love you and they love the Lord.
This January join 21 women for an 8 week study all about finding your true identity in Christ.
Each week you will hear unfolding stories from the women in this study.
We will be sharing truths about who the Lord says we are and our personal journeys to accepting and living out these truths.
I hope you will take a minute to hear the heart behind the course…
We will also have fun creative videos that follow the study each week where the women will share one of their gifts.
Think guitar playing, bread making, painting, entertaining and more.
You know I can’t have a course without sharing how the Lord uses our creativity!
My hope is that the study will give you fresh eyes for the Lord and yourself.
When we know who we are in Christ it changes everything and opens our paths and gifts in incredible new ways.
Some of us are carrying around “truths” about ourselves that are flat out lies and it time to lay them down.
This study will be open and honest, real, Bible based and a bit of creativity too.

What a wonderful gift! Isn’t it amazing how God works in our lives and has used you to create this wonderful new on line class. When first reading this, I thought a week with Jeanne and was very excited about that. Then, to find out it is 8 weeks and all these other artists have joined their hearts and talents with you. I’ve never been religious and have run from the mere mention but I read Karianne’s post and it touched me. Touched me enough that I ended up here and find that for some reason, I am drawn to this.
