I feel like I am still getting into the groove of the new year.
The past two years I have gone HERE to connect and focus my creativity and business.
It starts today and I am kicking myself for not going.
I had forgotten that January and February can be hard to put it nicely.
I didn’t sign up because I really, really, really want to go to the NYC version.
Tickets sell out FAST so I better be on the ball.
I love NYC and I am dragging THIS girl along with me!
(original post HERE)
Anyone wish they had some beginning of the year business boost in the butt?

Has anyone else seen THIS movie?
I loved it so much and laughed out loud a lot.
I hate when I am the loudest laugh in the theater.
Our neighbor girl once told my kids I sound like a witch when I laugh…nice!

Have you noticed our cute little social icons on the upper right hand side of the blog?
I hope this makes it easier for you to find and follow me on Pinterest, Facebook etc.

If you homeschool you KNOW how hard January and February can be.
I don’t know if it is the weather, you are just worn out or the crazy Christmas schedule that does you in.
I decided to take the kids to our local Lost Coffee every other week for breakfast and school.
They are sooo nice there, they know my name (swoon…I will love you forever) and they have private rooms you can use.
For. Real.
They also have gluten free breakfast burritos which really sealed the deal.
And gluten free muffins…and cookies…whatever, it is all about the schooling!

I Β just joined a gym.
Yuck..I hate gyms.
I would rather hike or just be outside in general.
I just finally caved because when you teach your kids from home, run a business from home, pay bills from home…I think you get the idea…I just can.not. workout one more time from home!
Anyone else in Castle Rock a member HERE?
Please..I need someone to meet me!

I have been wanting to set up a study/book club…something like that here in our home for awhile now.
It would be once a month at our home.
I want to pick books that will bless your life and grow your faith.
The first book, 7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess, I have already read but I want to do again with others.
If you want to come please email me at jeanneoli@hotmail.com.
I would love to have you join me.
The first get together will be in late February (more info coming later).

Not that this post could get anymore random but I love this print!
(You can purchase it HERE)
Each day we get to make that choice.

I recently forgot all of my liquid makeup/moisturizers etc. on my trip to Alabama.
I realized I had left that baggy on the bathroom counter as I was parking my car.
I asked my husband if he could same day deliver them to me.
He nicely told me that doesn’t exist unless I pay someone to fly them to me.
Hmmmm…someone should work on that!
I am thinking FedEx or someone should step it up a bit:-)
While I was waiting for my flight I shopped for new makeup at a nice makeup store in the airport.
See, other women forget their stuff too!
My new favorite mascara is now Smashbox Full Exposure.
Amazing!
Sometimes stupid mistakes make you try something new:-)

This week I have been listening to THIS, watching THIS and bought THIS.
I have also been planning meals from THIS.
I also wanted to go back to Paris when I saw all the beautiful winter photos HERE.
Have you seen THESE yet? So cute!!!!
I think I am done!
WOW…that ended up being WAY longer than I had planned.
Are you still here?
Are we even still friends?:-)
I hope you have an amazing rest of the week!
One more thing..sorry…I have to share this awesome new video for a retreat I am teaching at.
My kids keep watching it over and over.
I am totally in the midst of January Blues/ trying to catch up from the holidays. I would love to list all of my Valentine items on Etsy but I just cannot get there right now. Work is swamped and crazy and something as lovely as a day off from work (MLK Day) has totally wrecked my week and left me so tired. I have company coming to town Friday. Hoping I can get myself together before then. Right there with you Jeanne!
Did you hear my “eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!” just now? I’m off to send you an email about taking class a second time around…that’s enough to break my January homeschool blues!
Loved Silver Linings….my husband and I laughed out loud, alot. It was fun because we lived in Philly and the characters felt familiar! Weird??? And, can I be in a January funk too? Even though I don’t homeschool and send my kids off to school every day?
xo~Jill
with all of that, what does one comment on??=) cool art video. looks like a great treat! lost coffee sounds sweet!! gluten free!!=)
well this is the most fun post ever!
where do i start?
hmmm….i have to admit i’m a little ‘off’ in homeschooling and ready for brighter days ahead.
being stuck in the house with below freezing temps has this mama temporarily bummed.
also, i truly wish that one day i can take one of your courses.
i am a creator, but a scared one. i would love to open a shop and be brave!
finally, on a totally random note, i CANNOT wait to get a camera bag from you.
oh, YES! it going to happen! π
xoxo
have a lovely week!
Loved this juicy post. That picture of you and K with cigs has me cracking up here in my pajamas. Ever so glamorous! π And girl, I LOVED Silver Linings! I just saw it Tues. night and I adored every speck of it. (i.e. not just the Bradley Cooper parts) (Though I definitely loved those parts, too.) π We should see a movie together one of these days. π
ok..these pics are killing me! YES my mother and her besties sat at the beach with cig’s and drinks..while we kids BAKED in the sun! ahh the good ‘ol days!
and thanks for the link to my blog π sure wasn’t expecting those pics to pop up! xo
I so love your blog and find inspiration here daily both creatively as well as inspirationally. I am still giggling a little that your neighbor told your child you sound like a witch when you laugh. Let’s just say being Glinda is a little enviable and some may wish they had a laugh like that! π I am looking forward to Creatively Made. It is such a wonderful course! Have a wonderful day!
Great post and can so relate to it π
