I hate running from one place to another and nothing makes me happier than a slow day at home so I can’t tell you how happy I am that I am your last stop on the Finding Fall Home Tour.
I get to spend more time with you and we all can take a big exhale, I can get you a coffee and we don’t have any place to run off to.
If you are coming from Miss Mustard Seed I know you are overflowing with inspiration! That girl knows how to do it right!
I am go glad you are here and that you have taken the time to take a peek into our home dressed up for fall.
Fall is my favorite and it is not just because I have a love affair with sweaters and boots!
Fall is when I seem to turn my head and heart towards home even more than usual and I find myself opening my doors to others more.
It isn’t just the holidays…it is something different.
Things seem to slow down and you just don’t want to let it slip away.
In the midst of your busy day to day, dishes in the sink, pajama pants still on at 3pm or your hair up in a messy bun I hope you also find yourself opening your door to those around you this season too.
Welcome to our home…
Let’s start with the kitchen because this space is truly the heart of our home.
This is where we spend our time talking, working, eating and gathering in general.
[Learn how to make this paper roll holder and the hand lettering in the brand new Art of Home | Modern Simple Living]
{You can find the Persimmon gallery wrapped canvas HERE}
Next to the kitchen is our butler’s pantry which has really become the perfect place for coffee, tea and our bar (if you can call it that).
{If you love Sweet Melissa as much as I do you can find her HERE.}
Next to this space is my art studio. Coincidence? No!
This is where you will find us talking in the mornings, drinking coffee and doing school
I love gathering spaces and this sure meets that need in our family.
Our library is cozy and the space where we keep some of our books and our piano.
Hearing the children play is one of my favorite things on this earth!
Let’s head up stairs and at least show you what is clean (picked up works for me).
This is our master bedroom and there will be some fun changes in here this fall. I can’t wait to show you what a little paint can do!
When I have the time I really love to pull objects together I already have and go outside to gather branches and flowers for a simple table setting.
I really encourage you to just look for what you have and to use what is outside your front door.
I truly believe when we make the people more important than the perfection the whole atmosphere of our home changes.
We are atmosphere makers! We really are! What kind of atmosphere are we creating in our homes?
Thank you so much for touring our home!
Thank you to Finding Home for including me with such incredible designers and bloggers!

LOVE it all, as always! Absolutely gorgeous!
beyond gorgeous. every single detail!
Hi Jeanne, your home is so warm and welcoming, I always love your home tours!
I’d give anything to have a little speck of your talent. Your home is inviting and beautiful and so YOU!
Oh Jeanne! Everything is totally swoon-worthy. I loved everything and the only thing that would make it better is if I could come and sit and have a cup of coffee with you and chat the day away!
I absolutely adore your pretty living room – the flour sak striped pillow cover and the candle are perfection!
SOOOO perfect, Jeanne!!! Come over here and decorate mine for fall…I’m too tired. Thanks. See you soon. It really is just gorgeous!!!
Lovely!
beautiful home! the light fixture over your kitchen table kept drawing my eye. i love your style: comfortable, unique and unpretentious. 🙂
Oh my goodness! I love every detail of your home, the colors, textures, beautiful wood. Everything is just perfect. I could study these photos for hours. Such a beautiful, warm, artful and comfortable looking home.
What is the candle in the amber jar?
Love it all, Jeanne! A beautiful home in every season.
Two things….
1–I have this idea that there is a TV behind the blacksmith sign in your gathering room. If so, how do you access the TV when you want to watch it?
2–Did you make the plumbing pipe clothes rack in your room and if you bought it, where?
As always, inspirational and delightful tour; love these!
I love, love your style and the way you make things beautiful without being “perfect”. Although I would have to call it all flawless! Those whipped cream-topped cups at your coffee station ~ unfair! Ann
Stunning!
So beautiful Jeanne
I am new to this amazing world you create. I live in a 1909 cottage in Palmer Lake and am inspired! Do you ever do consultations? Also what camera and app do you use for such amazing photography? Blessed to meet you.
Thank you! Yes, I do offer consulting. Please email me at contact@jeanneoliverdesigns.com and we can discuss the details.
Jeanne, I am relatively new to your blog. I was wondering a few things. First of all, could you share your paint colors in your home? Your walls are so lovely. Secondly, could you share the differences in your “Creatively Made Home” course and your “Art of Home” course. Could I sign up for them now or did I have to do them when you started them? Thank you!
