I have been waiting patiently to announce my first workshop of 2018!
I will be coming back to the Donna Downey Studios and we will have three days to play with portraits!
I only travel to teach a few times a year because I love to be home with my family and I also teach in my own studio on our land. When I travel it is because I KNOW it will be an amazing experience for myself and all of the women coming.
I am honored to be teaching at Donna’s studio again and I would LOVE to create with you!

Workshop Description…
We are all surrounded by a cast of characters in our life and story. Join me as we gather those characters and begin to create portraits that go deeper than what you see on the surface. Using my favorite sketching exercises, techniques and supplies we will dive into storytelling through portraits.
At the end of the first day, you will be surrounded by your portrait sketches your own story will start to be revealed. With our other days together we will build upon our sketches to create completed portrait work through paint and collage. We will alter our pieces with image transfers, hand-painted flowers, mark making, hand carved stamps and more.
