These past months I have been busy planning and putting the spring line together.
I am hoping that you will find this next line the best one to date.
As I write this tonight I feel so blessed on this creative journey I have been able to travel.
Thank you for supporting me and my shop from the very beginning.
This February marked three years since I started.
I was so shocked by that this evening as I was doing paperwork.
Three years ago I nervously put items up on Etsy hoping that someone would buy them.
They were just the things I made for gifts and friends said I should sell them.
If you are scared to start I want to tell you a secret….just begin.
Go back to the beginning of the my Etsy shop.
You have to start somewhere.
Don’t be afraid….only when you start can you grow and truly start to define your style and where you want to go.
As I am busy getting the next line together I wanted to do something to say “thank you”.
I am offering a HUGE sale in my shop of all my prints.
Right now {through March 6th} you can purchase any TWO of my prints for $30!

I always love your things. I was able to buy from you last summer at one of the outside shops near The Barn. It was a journal and we use it to enter special family memories. It has been really fun to use and will hopefully be in the family a long time!

Your post was truly a blessing today! I started my Etsy shop in October 2010 and have sold only a few items and also don’t have too many things listed for sale right now. I have been seriously thinking these last few days about which direction to take my Etsy shop and how nervous I am to add different items than I currently sell. Your encouraging words came at just the right time and after just finishing up the Brave Girls Soul Restoration I class, I know for sure that I visited your website today for a reason! Thank you so much for encouraging others to follow their dreams! It is scary to put yourself out there and worry if people will like what you sell, but if you never try, you will never know!

I remember being so nervous the first time I was listing things I truly thought I could throw up. You are putting your heart out there each time. Honestly…I still get a little nervous when I release each line.
Your inspirations, gifts and talents grow and change….so should your art.

Congrats on 3 yrs! Your artwork and pictures of travels are both beautiful and inspiring. It is funny you spoke about putting yourself out there and to just do it. After many family emails with long stories and tediously uploading pictures, I finally started a blog, and put myself and my writing out there. I now have a wonderful network of family and friends who take time out of their busy lives to read my blog and support me. It is the best feeling to know that I have made someone laugh and their day a bit brighter just by simply writing about all my family’s shenanigans. Keep posting and creating your beautiful work, because it makes my day a bit brighter when I open my email.
