I use all types of watercolors. Daniel Smith is my favorite brand. I know that some of you are new to watercolors so don’t feel you need to buy all these colors. If you have a blue, a red and a yellow you can make just about any color!
I am in love with chalk paints! I use to buy Annie Sloane which are really pricey. One of my trips to Michaels I found some great finds! There are several brands of paints that are “Chalk like paints”. They are very inexpensive and you can find many lovely colors so don’t go buyin’ those Annie Sloane unless of course you are refinishing furniture.
The cosmetic sponge applicators are just the best for blending besides your fingers. The small ones are just the right size to smudge a little eye or mouth…perfect tool!
