Supplies needed to build storybook WITHOUT kit:

  • 16 sheets of 140 lb cold press watercolor paper 8×12 inches
  • 1 piece of water color paper (or card stock) 8×7/8 inches
  • Gold duct tape, 18 inches long, 2 inches wide (Duck Brand tape is what I use)
  • 3 Yards of 4 ply waxed linen thread (black)
  • Book binding needle
  • Non-stick surface such as a cutting mat or wax paper. (Duct tape is easier to work with on a non-stick surface. I use a cutting mat with a grid, its non-stick and the grid makes lining up the covers and tape easier.)

  • PDF of instructions and inside cover art (This will be provided in the classroom)
