Please feel free to use different brands on this list. This is just what I use but I if you have something else use whatever you have.
Strathmore Mixed Media 400 series paper 18 x 24 Two projects will be made in this course and each will be in a series of 3. I use 9″x12” for one project and 6”x15” for the other. If you get the 18” x 24” you have the opportunity to cut several sizes. In the video I show two different size pads of paper but it is not necessary to have two. If you have the 18 x 24 that will cover everything.
Heavy body acrylic paint in the color you like OR soft body acrylic paint. Either one will work. Liquitex Acrylic Matte Medium for lighter more fragile papers
Lineco Neutral ph adhesive for stronger papers and pieces that might require a stronger adhesive.
A selection of collage material to include plain papers, papers with text, book parts from old books, Polaroid images (newer ones) or vintage images (such as old black and whites) if you don’t have access to Polaroids
Paint brushes for glue
Brayer
Needle and thread
Hole punch
X-Acto knife
Scissors
Wax paper
Old credit card or room key
Spray bottle with water
Paper towel
Old magazine or catalog to use for glueing.
Matte board to mount the finished pieces on.
Foam core for the 6 x 15 project. We will use that to create a floating mount.
Kylon UV- resistant clear acrylic coating
Frames…if you decide to frame you will select the frame that works for you.
