A Pencil (one light and one dark, preferably, but a simple pencil will do)
A Sketch Pad (or sheets of computer paper)
A Ruler
Saral Transfer Paper
White Oil Paints (preferably rembrandt brand in these colors, but similar colors in other brands will do):
Titanium White, Chromium Oxide Green, Transparent Oxide Orange, Burnt Carmine, and Raw Umber
Gold Leaf
Old World Art Gold Leaf Adhesive Size
Painting Brushes (mostly use old, worn bristle brushes, but with one or two finer point sable rounds)
Brush Cleaner
Glazing Medium with Optional Quick Dryer
Two Gessoed Art Panels (the ones I’m using in the workshop are 13×24 inches, which will be difficult to find–you can cut your own from masonite or mdf, or purchase panels in the dimensions that fit the painting you want to create)
Less Essential Supplies:
A Palette
An Easel
Additional Oil Paints, Optional (preferably rembrandt brand in these colors, but similar colors in other brands will do):
Sevres Blue, Ultramarine Blue, Cadmium Orange
A Small Piece of Steel Wool
A Small Piece of Fine Grit Sandpaper
Gamvar Varnish
Safety Gloves (to keep the paint and medium off your hands)
