We are doing something completely different for this course and we hope you love it as much as we do. This next course will begin, go live, you will have access to all of it in… one month! Eek! Go grab your supplies and clear out your January because we are about to create some of our most beautiful pieces together. I have completely wrapped up filming and I am so proud of what is coming!
Registration is $62. The course is 10+ Hours of Content. Come and read all about it.
From Jeanne Oliver…
What others see at the surface rarely tells the story of what it took to get where we are now. Only when we dig below the surface do we find what lies underneath and all that it took to create something so complicated, rich, thought-provoking, broken and beautiful. This same thought is true with oil and cold wax. What we begin with may only be a glimpse in the end. Marks and colors that we do not love in the beginning may become the beauty revealed as we scrape back the layers to reveal the underneath. Only with layers, marks, exploring, and then revealing do our pieces come to life.
Join me in discovering the beautiful layers, textures, and marks that only oil and cold wax can achieve. We will dive into the creative process of gathering our supplies and palette, finding inspiration within our own marks and compositions, and then taking our small studies and letting them lead us into larger works of oil and cold wax. We will create unique dyed and stitched pieces of our old art and give them new life within our oil and cold wax layers. Through oil, cold wax, mark-making tools, mixed media supplies you already have on hand and vintage papers we will create art on paper, plywood, paper mounted on wood, wood panels, plaster and even a triptych.
I will lead you step-by-step and you will take away tangible tools and techniques to use not only in this course but for any other medium you love to work with.

What an amazing instructional website! I can’t wait to take this course, on my schedule, in my own studio.
Thank you!
I would love to take this course, I have most of the supplies listed and some experience working in cwm.
I have a question ( not in the FAQ ) about one of the supplies for this course regarding Venetian plaster, is there an equal alternative I can use otherwise I would need to order online. Would plain ordinary plaster be sufficient? I’ve been viewing all your courses last night and must say are very reasonably priced and all look very exciting.
Hello. You can use any premixed plaster that is convenient for you. Plain plaster will be perfect!
Hi Jeanne, thanks I also have a small jar of golden moulding paste in my supplies, would that work as well?
I feel like modeling paste does not dry the same but I am a big experimenter and I always try things out. Let me know what you find out.
