I should be packing right now but instead I am on the computer..surprise, surprise!
I am heading to Boulder tonight for the opening ceremony of the Makerie and then staying the night for an art class tomorrow.
I am really excited to be taking a class from Flora Bowley.
I love her style and use of color.
This will be out of my comfort zone….and that is good.
It can be hard to create with a room full of people especially when you are creating art so different from your own.
I am excited to see her process and to see what new techniques I take away from this weekend.
I am doubly blessed this weekend because my friend, Tracey, is in town and I get to hang out with her a little bit.
I am hoping some good food and some good antiquing is on the schedule:-)

I love hearing about all of the workshops and gatherings you take part in…That’s got to be on my “essentials list,” even as my business grows and I don’t feel like I “have the time”…if I don’t follow your example and refresh the artist in me, I’ll stray too far from a path of balance!
