So Cute It Hurts

Today is our first of five interviews of the the businesses that won the Pay It Forward post.

One of these five lucky women will win all the Kelly Rae goodies including the e-book!!

I have been so blessed and encouraged by this amazing blogging community and I hope you will bless these women the same way.

I would like to introduce you to Jacqueline.  She is the owner and designer behind the shop So Cute It Hurts.

I will let her introduce herself….

Hello, my name is Jacqueline. I've studied computer engineering and I’ve been working as a web programmer for about 7 years now. Although being a programmer is a form of creativity however the feeling of unappreciated, de-motivated and overwhelmed at work it’s taking its toll on me.  After a long day at work, a great stress relieve for me would be drowning myself with making things with my hands and spending time at my very little creative space, a space i build up about 2 years ago.

I make functional mixes whimsy items for home accessories such as love coasters, personal accessories like iPhone/iPad cozy, wesley purse to keychain/bookmarks and heart-warming gifts and treats such as my-all-time-favorite Heart-shaped tea time treat box. My creations often evolves around cuteness and love. My hope for my creations is to bring a magical touch of keeping feelings and relationships warm in a form of art.

My passion for art comes in a form of sewing and embroidery. When I was young and I was inspired by my old baby sitter, Granny Mary. Granny Mary used to sew cute little dresses for my Cabbage patch kid from left over vintage fabrics. I remember sitting around her sewing machine as she worked her magic fingers on those wonderful fabrics turning them into something so lovely and functional. She showered me into an artsy craftsy kid.

My creative dream is to build a life that supports me in a way that I am wanting. Along with that making friends and building a supportive community that support me and my creations, my vision and the way i am going. There’s nothing better than the fulfillment I get from creating something I love and to do something purely for the joy and inspiration that it would bring.

"I am a thriving artist and I live my creative dream like it matter most" ~ a message i want to be putting out into the world. To celebrate this bravery, i would like to giveaway a pair of my LOVE cozy elephant coasters with the colors of your choice to one lucky winner. Bring you love and happy whimsy when you are enjoying your morning coffee or a quite Sunday afternoon tea this festive season.

Thank you Jacqueline for letting us know more about you and what you create.

I would love for all of you to take a look at Jacqueline's blog and shop!

Jacqueline has so generously offered a pair of her elephant coasters to one of my readers.

I need that camera!!! It hurts, indeed. You are so talented, my friend…and I love that statement about being a thriving artist. There is a difference between being an artist and a thriving artist…I think it is wise to remind ourselves of that.
    Yay, for you!
