Meet Angela Redhead
Angie Redhead’s interest in art began with inspiring and encouraging art teachers. She took summer classes through Sir Sanford Fleming College, one-on-one classes with oil painter, Joan Divine, and then enrolled in the Fine Arts programme at the University of Ottawa.
Art followed in her career by running a mural painting business in Toronto. This period saw many recreations of Michelangelo, Turner, Ver Meer, etc. and thus began her interest in the techniques of the Old Masters’ and attempting to create an old world feel in her work.
For the last while, Angie has been teaching art to both teens and adults. She also has art classes available online. Angie resides with her family in rural southern Manitoba, Canada.
