Wedding Day

It was so much fun to look at pictures that I have not looked at in years.

I just grabbed some candids that we (my husband) was able to scan.

Because it is pre digital camera and they were candids the quality is not the best…but you will get a glimpse into our day.

My favorite string instruments.

I wore my mother's wedding dress. It was a gorgeous champagne color and the vintage lace was lovely. My favorite part was the train.

Dancing with my Uncle Richard.

We had an amazing swing band play at the reception.

I wish I would have found a picture of our beautiful sit down dinner.

We were married on the grounds of the Colonial Rose Inn. It is a 1855 colonial mansion.

Our reception was held inside.

It was such a beautiful day.  We were so lucky in early October to have perfect weather and leaves falling.

We were surrounded by our family and I have always been so happy and content about our wedding day.

I would love to see pictures from your wedding day too.

Let me know if you are posting them on your site and I will link back to you.

    Jeanne,
The photos of your family, friends, your dress – well… everything is beautiful. I especially like the picture of you and your Uncle Richard (maybe because I have an Uncle Richard… but think it’s because it looks like a very tender moment). Enjoy your weekend and thank you for sharing.

    These are beautiful!
You know what I love the most is that they’re timeless. This wedding could have been last week, if you hadn’t told us any different. You don’t have teased hair, blue eyeshadow, and poofy sleeves that scream of a certain era. πŸ˜‰
When I planned our wedding, that was my biggest goal – just to make it timeless.

absolutely priceless! It brought tears into my eyes for some reason, i get all sentimental when it comes to wedding memories:) Perhaps because i am a day shy from my own 6th wedding anniversary!!
