Before we all head into the weekend I wanted to give you a sneak peek into week two of The Journey of Letting Go {creating beauty from ashes}.
I have to be honest that I wasn’t sure I wanted to do this course.
Truly.
I didn’t really want to talk about this stuff.
It is easy to talk about your homes, your gifts and art supplies.
This felt different.
Harder.
I also didn’t want it to feel heavy or sad.
I wanted the people that came to learn art to also get a glimpse into my heart on this matter and to leave encouraged…not defeated.
I didn’t know how the course would be received or how the students would respond to it.
It has been a beautiful week for me to connect with so many people but to also have emails flooding my inbox telling me that they feel encouraged and inspired!!!

I am loving all of the art we are making together and I think this will be the best art videos I have done to date!

Jeanne, I started the class week. I must tell you that I have taken several on-line classes, and this is the best one EVER, by far. It speaks to me like nothing else has, and I’m so blessed by your faith and I keep reading and writing the scripture you gave is in Isaiah. Truly, there is more content even in week 1 than most classes are in their entirety. I’m very happy with the way you are doing it, and the supply video in the beginning was genius. YES, I can SO imagine why you would be hesitant to “go there” with this class… those are places we don’t like to visit, much less re-visit, but the healing… Oh my gosh. Amazing. Thank you for going “there”. I needed this. Now. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect for me needing it, even though it’s hard to go a little “dark” the beauty we make from it is SO worth it. Thank you for being willing to share your talent and yourself. I’m sure that you’ll be glad you were the guide in this journey. Thank you.

I just got back from my whirlwind trip to France… my mind is a blur. activities overwhelmed me, mentally, physically, emotionally. looking forward to signing up for this class… just taking a breather though. decided to not just put on the brakes but to stop and breathe and listen. so thankful for soul refreshing… 🙂 see you soon!
