When fall is even remotely near I begin craving a pumpkin spice latte.
Because of my allergies I am not able to purchase one from a cafe because of the dyes in the syrup.
I have tried different recipes over the past years, I have tweaked many recipes and I feel like I have finally found one that I love!
This recipe is soooo good and worth the few minutes of work.
The best part is that you know everything that is in your latte and you don’t have to feel too bad about your fall addiction:-)
Let me know if you if you make one yourself!
Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe
{makes 2 servings}
1 cup whole milk
2-3 tablespoons organic pumpkin puree
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups strong coffee
Whipped Cream
Half and Half
Sugar/Stevia to taste
Nutmeg or Pumpkin Spice to top off the whipped cream
*In a bowl whisk together the milk, pumpkin, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice and vanilla
*Heat the milk mixture (I heat mine in the top area of my Bialetti)
{I then take the heated milk mixture and mix it in my Bodum milk frother}
*Make strong coffee in your coffee maker or French Press
*Divide your coffee and milk mixture in your coffee cup
*Add cream and sugar (I use 1 packet of Stevia) to taste
*Finish it off with whipped cream and ground nutmeg or pumpkin pie spice

This is one I definitely must try. It’s hard to find a really good pumpkin spice latte, but this recipe looks great!
I hope you love it!
looks and sounds delicious!! look forward to pureeing our pumpkins and give this a try!
You will have to let me know how it turns out with fresh pumpkin.
ummm….yes please! but can you ship me some half/half, pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice? looks delish and the photos are gorgeous! xo
I will ship you the pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice:-)
Sounds so delicious, and your photo’s are stunning. Nice to know this can be made at home and without the syrups. Looking forward to trying it!
I hope you like it as much as we do.
I’m actually considering running to the grocery store at 9:30 at night to get the ingredients I need for the morning! 🙂 This sounds amazing and a must make!
oh my yumminess!!! love all your pictures here too…looks like a magazine! Jeanne Oliver: the magazine. Think about it 😉
This sounds yummy, but I don’t drink coffee, (makes me too edgy) Instead, I’ll try to mix up a milky, creamy, steamed, spicy milk, or maybe a chai tea type. That might be nice. 🙂
Do you have a favorite brand & flavor of coffee you use? I have tried so many over the years but have not found the perfect one yet.
My favorite kind of latte! I’m saving this recipe for the cooler weather ahead! 🙂 Thanks for sharing, Jeanne!

The styling on these photos is lovely and the latte sounds delicious. It would be perfect on a fall afternoon. Thanks for sharing!.
Flavor is perfect, but… I always have a hard time making my own, figuring out how to not get a gritty last few gulps. All the spice settles to the bottom and I just can’t drink it. Do you filter it or anything, or do you just drink it?
I really mix it well with my Bodum milk frother and I haven’t had a problem with that. I also make smaller cups at a time and maybe that means I drink it before it separates. I hope this helps.
Jeanne, I just made the punpkin spice latte. DELICIOUS! I think it’s better than Starbucks. Thank so much for the recipe. (And my wallet thanks you too!) LOL
