My first book, The Painted Art Journal, is currently on pre-order (yippee) and we are planning so many fun ways to celebrate the official launch!
We are going to kick-off the launch with a three-day workshop with some of my favorite ways to tell your personal narrative. Through paint, journal making, printmaking and sculpture we will incorporate our stories into our art.
Join me in beautiful Castle Rock, Colorado on June 21-23, 2018 for a three-day art workshop.
Our studio is light-filled and surrounded by wooded property that lends itself to exploring, creating and relaxing.
You will have opportunities during the workshop to also make your way through some of our wooded paths and find a spot to create.
It is our heart’s desire that your time on our land and studio brings you rest and dreaming.
When you arrive on Thursday afternoon you will be welcomed with mimosas and a light snack as we find our places and meet each other.
All main supplies will be provided for this workshop.
Each day there will also be time spent in the beautiful land surrounding the studio including our lunchtime in the garden.
The Schedule:
Thursday, June 21st | The Studio will open at 12:30 and the workshop will begin at 1:00. Beautiful desserts provided. Class ends 5:00. We will go to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants (this is not included).
Friday, June 22nd | The Studio will open at 9:30 and the workshop will begin at 10:00. Beautiful lunch and desserts provided. Class ends at 4:00.
Saturday, June 23rd | The Studio will open at 9:30 and the workshop will begin at 10:00. Beautiful lunch and desserts provided. Class will end at 4:00. Our time together will end with cocktails and appetizers.

While you are in the area we will make sure to point you in the right direction to all of our favorite restaurants, hiking spots, and antique stores.
Our town has been ranked one of the best towns in America and we have to agree. I suggest you stay a few extra days to enjoy the beauty of Colorado!

This is like a dream come true for me. I am off in the summers ( I work in a school) and I have wanted to come to one of your workshops so badly.
I have a birthday in June and this will be my present to myself. My kids want me get a tattoo with them.. hahaha.. I just want them to karaoke to me. I ask for that every year…….. still waiting.
