Figuratively Speaking: Supply List - Jeanne Oliver

Substrates
Watercolor paper, any type. I am using 8 sheets of 9×12 and 4 sheets of 12×16, 300 lb cold press student grade.
Manila tags, four 4”x6” (or paper cut to about that size)
Embroidery floss, twine, or waxed linen thread. Use what you have.
Tracing paper. I am using Strathmore 11×14.
Paint Brushes, your favorites.
Acrylic paints in your favorite colors. Include a white and a dark neutral like Night or Payne’s Grey. Heavy gel medium
White gesso
Paint scraper/old credit card or hotel room key
Writing tools for mark making (like Stabilo All, Lyra Giant pencil, Conte pencil, Scribble Sticks, Neocolor II, etc.). Use what you already have.
Brayer
Piercing tool and foam mat
Needle
Bone folder
Fashion Magazine, such as W or Vogue
Stencils, use what you have.
Collage papers such as printed words, book paper, etc.
Printed washi tape
Blue painter’s tape, any width
Optional: sewing machine
