SUPPLIES |

These are the specific supplies that I will be using throughout our course together. Please feel free to watch the videos before deciding which supplies you may want to purchase. Please use what you may already have on hand.

• Palette Paper (parchment paper, tracing paper, whatever you have on hand could work as well)
  Painters tape or masking tape
• Gesso
• High Flow Acrylics – your favorite colors
• Heavy Body Acrylic Paint – your favorites colors
• Wood Panels (I used 8×10 panels, but use any size you like; panels can be found in a variety of brands and price ranges)
• Watercolor Paper and/or Mixed Media Paper
• Canvas (I use 8×8 for the course, but use any size you like)
• Paint Brushes (variety of sizes and shapes: filbert, round, flat, – what feels comfortable in your
  hands)

Sketching/Water Soluble Tools – pick your favorites:

• Pencil
• Derwent Drawing Pencils
• Winsor & Newton Watercolor Markers
• Derwent Inktense Blocks
• Neo Color II Crayons
• Prismacolor Pastel Sticks
• Sennelier Soft Pastels

Additional/Optional Supplies:

• Carbon Black Ink
• Graphite Transfer Paper
• Inspiration (take a walk and collect from outside, The Graphics Fairy, Pinterest, photos)
• Precision needle top bottle (for mixing high flows together)
• Color wheel
• Color Scheme Bible
• Mark Making Tool Set, Wire tools (look around your house and outside – skewer, leaves,
  flowers, grasses, kitchen utensils, stencils)
• Watercolor journal (cut your own WC paper and bind it or use a loose binder clip to keep together)
• Watercolor paints
