To Make: Supply List - Jeanne Oliver

Supply List

Luckily, to create a macramé you only need a few basic supplies. Your two hands will bring shape and beauty to these items. The most important thing is that you purchase the correct size, type, and length of string listed below for the pattern that I’ve made.

  • 900ft of 5mm single twisted string in the color of your choice (below are a few options)
    • Niroma (my favorite and what I will be using) – use discount code JJNIROMA15 at Niroma for 15% off (only good once per person)

Note: Niroma is currently out of stock – estimating late March or early April until they have more

Shorter options available here if the above suppliers are out of stock

  • Dowel 32” (for our large macrame) another of any size to practice knots on
  • S hooks (I use these small ones) but depending on your rack size you might need larger like these
  • Nails (small-medium sized ones)
  • hammer
  • Sharp scissors (fabric only shears are best to efficiently cut string)
  • Measure tape or ruler
  • Embroidery needle (optional)
